Savile Row Travel

Planning your travels for 2025? Whether you’re chasing warm weather, stunning scenery, or cultural events, choosing the right destination for each month can make all the difference. Here’s our month-by-month guide to the best places to visit in 2025.

January – The Northern Lights in Norway

Kick off the year with a magical Arctic adventure in Norway. Head to Tromsø or the Lofoten Islands for some of the world’s snowiest landscapes, perfect for dog sledging, snowshoeing and family memories. Make it even more spectacular with a night or two in an ice hotel or glass igloo – we’ll have our fingers crossed that the Northern Lights put on a show for you!

February – Brazil’s Carnival Colours

Rio de Janeiro explodes with colour and energy during Carnival at the end of February, one of the world’s most famous festivals. Expect dazzling parades, samba dancing, delicious Mexican snacks and non-stop celebrations in the lead-up to Lent.

March – Bursting Cherry Blossoms in Japan

Spring arrives in Japan with an explosion of breathtaking cherry pink and white blossoms. Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka turn rosy with sakura trees, making this one of the most picturesque times to visit. Unfortunately, it’s also the most popular time of year to visit, so we recommend booking your Japan trip at least a year in advance (we’re currently booking for 2027)!

April – Netherlands for Tulip Season

If you miss Japan’s colourful flowers, hop over to the Netherlands for Europe’s version of the spring blooms. Nowhere is it more spectacular than Keukenhof Gardens, where tulips of every colour paint the fields, covering every inch of land like a blanket of vibrancy. Combine your visit with a trip to Amsterdam to explore its historic canals and world-class museums for a getaway to remember.

May – Greek Island Hopping

Before the summer crowds arrive, head over to the Aegean coast to explore the Greek Islands as the May sunshine warms the area. It’s a great time to visit the stunning beaches and charming villages of Santorini, Mykonos, and Crete before the cruisers arrive, while lesser-known isles like Hydra, Poros and Aegina offer a calmer side of Greek life.

June – Road Trip across the Canadian Rockies

With summer in full swing, June is ideal for a trip to the Canadian Rockies. Visit Banff and Jasper to explore National Parks enveloped in mountain scenery and dotted with turquoise lakes, spotting abundant wildlife everywhere you look. Why not make it a road trip by flying into Calgary and hiring a car to drive across to Whistler Village, heading home from Vancouver?

July – Kenya’s Great Migration

Witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles in Kenya’s Masai Mara, as thousands of wildebeest cross the savannah during the Great Migration. It’s also a great time to spot the Big Five as they go about their daily life.

August – Indonesia Awaits

August is typically ideal for a tropical escape to the famous island of Bali, but we recommend heading towards the central region around Ubud to avoid the big crowds.

September – Italy for Wine Harvest

As the schools go back, September in Europe brings a serene atmosphere with lower prices, fewer crowds and pleasant sunshine. Head to Tuscany or Piedmont in September for grape harvest season and get your fill of vineyard tours, wine tastings, and stunning countryside landscapes.

October – New England for Autumn Foliage

The forests of New England burst into colour in October, with shades of red, orange, and gold, so we suggest a road trip through Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine for the best autumn scenery. Or, head in the other direction to witness the unforgettable lights of Diwali in India.

November – Patagonia for Adventure

Spring arrives in the Southern Hemisphere, making it an excellent time to explore Patagonia’s dramatic landscapes. Hike through Torres del Paine or admire Argentina’s Perito Moreno Glacier.

December – Germany for Christmas Markets

Wrap up the year with a festive trip to Germany’s charming Christmas markets – Nuremberg, Munich, and Cologne offer twinkling lights, mulled wine, and Christmas cheer by the Stein!
