Antananarivo
Arrival in Tana, and transfer to your hotel.day TWO

Full day to explore the treasures of the capital city. Start with a morning walk through the first capital city of united Madagascar, and learn about the history of the country. Take lunch in a local restaurant before you drive back to the city center and after a short walk close to the Queen’s Palace, experience cooking like a local or making chocolate the Malagasy way in the Tamana Kitchen. Tonight take dinner at your hotel.day THREE
Bekopaka Bemaraha
Early morning transfer to the airport to board your flight and head to Morondava. Excursion to the iconic baobab alley and light lunch in a local village restaurant. Transfer back to the airport and fly to Bemaraha. On the way, fly over the astonishingly large rock forest that is the Tsingy of Bemaraha. Transfer to your hotel.day FOUR
Bekopaka Bemaraha

Bekopaka Bemaraha
This is the big day: start early with an hour transfer to reach the Grande Tsingy, a giant ancient geological formation of limestone, now eroded into fabulous peaks and gorges. Here you will start a fabulous and quite challenging day hiking through the majestic Tsingy. Packed lunch today.day SIX
Nosy Be
Early morning transfer to the Amborodia landing strip and flight back to Tana. Transfer to the Ivato airport for your commercial flight to Nosy Be in the middle afternoon. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.day SEVEN
Nosy Be
Free day at leisure to relax. You can enjoy a chilled snorkeling experience to the Ambohibe turtle reserve, right in front of the hotel. Scuba diving is also an option for those with experience. In the mid-afternoon, transfer to the Mount Passot, the highest peak of the Nosy Be island where from you have a stunning 360° view, perfect for an amazingly romantic sunset. Nosy Be
Today you’ll depart early for a day of marine exploration. Depending on the season, you might see Omura and Humpback whales, shark whales, manta rays, bottlenose dolphins. Green and hawksbill turtles are visable year-round, as well as the multitude of reef fish, spanning their entire spectrum of the rainbow. Packed lunch today.day NINE
Nosy Be
Today, either enjoy a day to relax at the hotel or join a half-day exploration of the Nosy Be main island. This tour includes the bustling Hell-Ville market to feel the local daily life, and visit the sacred Banian Tree. Return to the hotel at about 1pm.day TEN

Arrival in Tana
Arrival in Tana in the early after, meet you airport assistant and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.day TWO
Tana
Today is dedicated to visiting the capital city and its surroundings. Start your day with a transfer to Ambohimanga Rova, the first capital city of the united Madagascar which is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll have a guided visit followed by lunch in a local restaurant.
Drive back to Tana to visit TAMàNA Kitchen in the afternoon. Roll up your sleeves and get ready to have a fun and informative experience learning everything there is to know about fine Malagasy cocoa. Led by one of the only craft chocolate makers in Madagascar, the Bijor company, you will explore the distinctive qualities of this gorgeous chocolate with interactive demonstrations to prepare your delicious chocolate creations, which you can take home.
Transfert back to your hotel for dinner.
day THREE
Tana – Morondava – Amborodia – Bekopaka
You’ll have an early wake-up to be at the airport for a 06.30 departure on your private charter flight for Morondava. Landing in Morondava at 08.30am you will meet your local guide and jump in a luxury SUV to drive to the iconic Baobab Alley.
Here you will meet with some conservation staff from the local NGO Fanamby, who is in charge of the conservation for the area. It is possible to plant your own baobab that you will be able to follow on a dedicated app when you return home. Return to the airport and fly to Amborodia, a small location 17km from Bekopaka. On the way, fly over the amazing mineral world of the Tsingy of Bemaraha.
Transfer to your hotel about an hour away and take some downtime to refresh before dinner.
day FOUR
Bekopaka
Another early start as you take breakfast from 6.00am, for a departure from the hotel at 07.00. Start the day with a gentle canoe ride on the Manambolo river (about 1h30) to enjoy the beautiful gorges and learn about the local traditions and history of the Sakalava people of the Menabe area. Lookout at the cliffs and spot the tombs of formers Kings.
Then go on a walking exploration of the small Tsingy. This is a great place to observe lemur, birdlife and endemic flora. Also, they are a good familiarization to the big Tsingy, which you’ll become familiar with on Day 5…
day FiVE
Bekopaka – Tana
Breakfast will be served from 6.00am, for your departure at 7.00am. It is a general principle in Madagascar to start early and end early, that way you have time to relax once back at the hotel, while escaping how hot it can get, even in wintertime.
Your excursion will begin with a one hour drive on a dirt road will take us to the departure point of your walk through the spectacular Big Tsingy of Bemaraha. You will explore an amazing and surprising mineral world, starting from the bottom of the Tsingy, and voyaging up.
Today’s walk is not easy. It involves the use of a safety harness and some heights before you have to cross a suspended bridge. So it is advised that guests to this particular day’s hike are in good physical fitness and do not suffer from vertigo. There is, of course, less bold routes to be taken should guests want.
Throughout you will uncover a bizarre flora and meet with some of the local inhabitants, such as lemurs, birds, and geckos. You’ll have a packed lunch to maximise time enjoying this unique site before ending between 2 and 3 pm and transferring back to your hotel to refresh before dinner.
day SIX
Bekopaka – Tana – Nosy Be / Nosy Sakatia
Morning transfer to the Amborodia Airstrip and flight back to Tana. Upon arrival, transfer to the Ivato Airport for your commercial flight to Nosy Be. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.
day SEVEN
Nosy Be / Nosy Sakatia
Free day at leisure. Enjoy the quietness of the Sakatia Lodge, take a walk around the island, or go for some snorkeling in the Ambohibe Turtle Reserve, right in front of the hotel. Green turtles are easy to observe here on the seagrass meadow.
day EIGHT
A day to spot the Marine Life – Nosy Be
Today you will board a private boat and start a unique aquatic experience. You are departing for a day of searching for beautiful marine life, from whales and shark whales to turtles, dolphins, and if you’re lucky ray mantas.
You can choose to stay on board or snorkel for an up-close and personal view of the aquatic life. Each trip is dependant on the weather conditions, however, often you ‘ll be taken to the and iconic Nosy Iranja. Enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Madagascar at lunch, before strolling along the sandbank at low tide.
day NINE
Nosy Be
Today is the last day of your trip to Nosy Be. You can maximise your relaxation time, or go for a morning exploration of the vibrant Nosy Be including a visit to the bustling local market Before transferring to the Sacred Banian Tree.
Many Malagasy people believe in spirits, and as such the Banian (which is not endemic to Madagascar) has always been considered as holy. Join people as they come to it with offerings such as honey and rum to gain good health and luck. This guided visit of the banian tree will give you a special insight into the local Madagascan culture.
day TEN
Departure from Nosy Be
In the late morning, transfer to the Nosy Be international airport on time to check in your international flight (SAA to JNB or ET to ADD).
