A luxury resort on the Spanish island of Tenerife which is perfect for a short haul winter break
The Bahía del Duque, located on the island of Tenerife, next to the Atlantic Ocean, is a luxury residential complex inspired in the culture of The Canary Islands, reflected both in its colonial style as well as the clothing of the personnel, inspired in the traditional attire of the region. Tenerife is known for its unique volcanic nature and its exceptional spring climate. An extraordinary oasis of landscapes, surrounded by crystal waters rich in marine life. The Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and was renovated between 2008 – 2009, coinciding with the opening of its exclusive 40 villas and its singular Thalasso Spa.
We recommend one of the 58 suites or 40 villas, which are surrounded by lush gardens that form a spectacular balcony over the stunning El Duque Beach, on the Atlantic Ocean.
Junior suites are spacious and luxurious, offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere with a living room, balcony or terrace and spectacular view over the Atlantic Ocean or the lush gardens that surround the hotel.
Suites have a separate bedroom and have a renovated colonial style with extraordinary views from the balcony or terrace.
The Presidential suite is situated at the heart of the hotel and has a renovated colonial style and a grand terrace with jacuzzi from where you can enjoy spectacular ocean views.
Suite Imelda is brand new and split over two floors with spectacular ocean views and has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 terraces, one of them with a private jacuzzi. This luxurious ‘home from home’ has a modern and contemporary look, a large walk-in closet and a spectacular soaker tub which is bathed in light.
The Royal suite has superb panoramic views over the ocean and gardens of the hotel, a large terrace with outdoor hot tub and ample sunbathing space.
Opened in 2008, the Villas have been built in an elegant, contemporary style, using the representative volcanic stone from Tenerife. Each Villa has its own private pool, 24-hour butler service, ‘a la carte’ aromatherapy bath menus and Bang & Olufsen sound systems. The Villas have been decorated by prestigious interior designer Pascua Ortega, following a meticulous combination of light, space and colour. The spacious lounges, terraces and gardens round off a luxurious setting that provides a natural continuity of interiors and exteriors. Its private reception includes a reading lounge, with views over the central swimming pool, an exclusive area for guests of the Villas.
