After undergoing a property-wide renovation, the Praia D’El Rey introduces new and renewed spaces that enhance every aspect of the chic coastal charmer. All 177 guest rooms have private terraces or balconies offering unique views of either the Atlantic Ocean or the beautiful 18-hole championship golf course and gardens. Tempera is an all-day restaurant offering daily thematic buffets, while Emprata restaurant offers a contemporary and creative approach to Portuguese cuisine, incorporating regional products, ingredients and traditions. Light meals can be enjoyed together with beautiful views at Contato Lobby Bar. Cuisine is taken very seriously and our Chefs take great pride and pleasure in their creations. A state of the art fitness centre, an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and Turkish bath are all available for guests to enjoy, along with the Kalyan SPA, offering relaxing and invigorating massages and beauty treatments. Golf at Praia D'El Rey
Praia D’El Rey is arguably one of the most stunning golf courses in Europe, set among extensive pine forests and undulating dunes, with spectacular views over the Atlantic and the Berlenga Islands beyond. Deep bunkers, sloping greens and sandy dunes contrast sharply with the lush fairways, making it the complete golfing challenge.
The course features a Clubhouse and golf shop, a Clubhouse Restaurant, rentals and lessons, a driving range and a putting green. Spikes allowed.
The 18-hole course, designed by the renowned American golf architect Cabell B.Robinson, was inaugurated on 14th June 1997.
