On a terrace overlooking the garden and pool, The Bougainvillea Terrace Restaurant offers all the comfort you could wish for in a space decorated in a cool and chic style where you can enjoy a meal or simply have a drink while listening to music. Protected from the local winds and sheltered from the sun if necessary, air-conditioned when needed but still open to the outside on one side, the luxuriant gardens of Estoril, on the other, the Palácio’s limpid pool.
The Four Seasons Grill restaurant, noted for its elegant ambience, serves a renewed menu in a sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with unforgettable flavours.
In an elegant space with seating for 90 diners on two floors, the ground-floor and mezzanine, the Chef offers a tempting and varied choice of Portuguese and international dishes.
The Estoril Bar is the ideal place to rest, while having a drink and enjoying the magnificent view of the beautiful terraces and gardens of the Hotel. It was here that Agent 007, James Bond was born by the inspiration of Ian Flemming who wrote the book “Casino Royal” in 1941.
At Organic Caffè, enjoy a renewed cuisine, with a combination of tasty, aromatic and healthy ingredients. The space offers a relaxed atmosphere, with background music, comfortable and may be the ideal place for a light meal, either breakfast or lunch. Take-away option available.
The Estoril Golf Club
Par:69 | Holes:18
The Estoril Championship Course was born in 1929 and redesigned in 1936 by Mackenzie Ross. It is known as one of the oldest and most emblematic clubs in Portugal and where two of the Portuguese most important tournaments have been held frequently: The Portuguese Open and The Portuguese International Championship Amateur.
A long list of famous golfers have played on the Estoril Golf Course, including Ballesteros, Montgomerie, Sam Torrance, Canizares, Gene Sarazen, Peter Allis and Bernard Gallacher.
Overlooking Estoril and the sea, this 5200-metre-long course is set amongst eucalyptus, mimosas and pine trees giving a uniquely colourful touch that demands excellent tactics and challenges in accuracy rather than distance.
The visually stunning par 3 holes, although they vary in length, all pose particular challenges. The Peppers Hole (4th Hole) is surrounded by pepper trees, while The Tea Cup (8th Hole) is well known due to the always challenging flag position.
Caddies here are among the most experienced – some of them have worked for many PGA players while competing in Portugal. After finishing your golf game, you can taste the delights of Portuguese cuisine, while you are overlooking the 18th hole and a spectacular view over the Atlantic Ocean.
