Location

This beautiful resort is located on the North East coast of Mauritius and is a 40 minute journey from the airport. There are three popular scuba diving sites just ten minutes from the hotel by boat (Japanese Garden, Long Cliff and Belle Mare Pass) and three 18-hole championship golf courses can be found nearby.

As you would expect from the LUX* brand, dining options are eclectic, different and plentiful.

MIXE: serves island specialities all day long, from Japanese teppanyaki to spicy curries. The chocolate room is definitely worth a visit to watch the creation of decadent pastries and desserts.

Beach Rouge: has a French Rivier-style charm and look with views over the Indian Ocean. Here the specialities are The eatery delicious tapas and fabulous cocktails.

Duck Laundry: a contemporary-styled Chinese eatery where duck features heavily in the menu selection together with noodle and barbecue stations.

Amari by Vineet: contemporary flavours in a sumptuous environment.

Other quirky offerings include the hotel’s Rolls Royce 1933 food truck, microbrewery, ice cream shop, juice bar and tea house.

Spa

The spa offers a range of exclusive treatments tailored to your needs including massages with pure organic essential oils, relaxing facials, plus yoga and meditation.

Accommodation

Suites range in size from 60sqm to 240sqm and include 1-bed Junior suites with generous living spaces and a terrace overlooking the tropical gardens and lagoon, to 2-bed Family suites and Kelly Hoppen-designed Ocean Suites at 90sqm with an expansive terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean. The beautifully appointed suites, designed by Kelly Hoppen and 240sqm in size, have a dining room and living space with wonderfully comfortable furnishings, expansive outdoor space with views of the tropical gardens and benefit from the services of a butler.

1-bed Ocean View Villas have been recently restyled by world-renowned interior designer Kelly Hoppen and feature her signature calm neutral colour palette. Textures inspired by the beach together with bleached wood are combined with curated artworks and accents of bold colour to create a charming and relaxing space. At 160sqm in size, the bedroom has a king-sized bed, bathroom with bath and walk-in shower, kitchenette, private pool, terrace, living area and garden, plus views of the ocean.

1-bed Beachfront Villas are 180sqm in size and have a secluded tropical location with stunning ocean views. There is direct access to the beach as well as a private garden, together with a master bedroom with king-sized bed.

2-bed Prestige Villas have also been recently restyled by Kelly Hoppen and feature the same stunning interiors as the Ocean View villas using Hoppen’s signature colour palette of relaxing neutrals. At 255sqm in size they have a master bedroom with king-sized bed and outdoor shower together with a second bedroom, also with king-sized bed. A private pool, patio, kitchenette and in-villa spa therapy area with thatched roof completes the villas.
