Built in 1930 in the Classical style, La Datcha Forte dei Marmi was renovated by its owner Oleg Tinkov to highlight its architectural beauty and preserve its historical ambience. The palazzo’s interior celebrates luxury and opulence. Golden swirls on the furniture and lights, shades of pearl grey, gold and ivory, and natural fabrics combine to give the palazzo an air of ultimate sophistication. Set over four floors, the palazzo can sleep up to 20 people and can be booked only for exclusive use. On the ground floor, there are two living rooms, a dining room and a cocktail area, a bar, two working spaces, a cinema, and a spa centre with a swimming pool, a sauna, a Turkish bath and a sunbathing terrace.
The three upper floors contain ten bedrooms, each featuring a dressing room and a bathroom for the guests comfort. In addition to the bedrooms, the ground floor Italian-style garden and lounge area makes the perfect location for an evening with your family or friends over a glass of wine from Oleg Tinkov’s private collection.
The Finest Dining and Wine
The Mediterranean cuisine in the palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi draws on the fresh sea products, fish, fowl, vegetables and fruits. For the La Datcha guests to fully enjoy the look and taste of all the dishes, the chef is there to oversee all stages of cooking, from the purchase of ingredients to the the final serving.
La Datcha owner Oleg Tinkov and his sommeliers created a special wine list for the palazzo’s guests. Previously, these wines were selected by Mr Tinkov for his personal collection. Now he invites guests at La Datcha Forte dei Marmi to taste their exquisite flavours.
Leisure at La Datcha
The palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi seeks to provide the ultimate vacation experience for the guests by creating a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
Forte dei Marmi is a haven for cyclists. Cars are not allowed in the historical downtown, so most locals and tourists move around on bicycles. The surrounding mountainous area is perfect for professional cycling. Giro d’Italia, the main bicycle race of Italy, often takes place here. For the really keen cyclist, the La Datcha team will help you pick the right bicycle and plan a perfect route for your ability level. You could also take a personal training session with Mikhail Ignatiev, an Olympic cycling champion and a Forte dei Marmi resident.
The palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi is just 30m away from the sea. It has a private fenced beach for the guests, which is especially valuable in Forte dei Marmi where public beaches are flooded with tourists during the summer. The beach also boasts a swimming pool.
During the day, when the sun is too hot, the guests are invited to lounge in a refreshing jacuzzi, take a walk in the beachfront garden or have a yoga class in a pool front gym.
To the rear of the palazzo is a dedicated area for sunbathing and swimming. After exercise, guests can use the spa. steam room or the Turkish bath to ease the muscle tension. Then head to the bar in the cocktail area for vitamin shakes, fresh juices, tea, coffee, wine and appetisers.
The cocktail area and the bar are next to the swimming pool, so that guests can soak up the sun with a glass of their favourite drink.
