Carissa: Sleeps Two

One of the most romantic hideouts in East Africa. Carissa is perched on a rocky outcrop in a secluded corner of the property. Its luxurious new interiors are inspired by the carissa tree, found on the grounds around the house. Its bedroom, with floor-to-ceiling windows, offers spectacular views of the craggy peaks and deep valleys of Laikipia. With a private deck and open-air bathtub, a cosy lounge with fireplace and a private dining room, Carissa is an idyllic oasis in a rugged environment.

Aloe: Sleeps Four

An impressive double-storey villa with views as far as Mount Kenya. Aloe features two expansive bedrooms complete with dressing rooms, sunken baths, open-air showers and private terraces with spectacular views of the Matthews range, Ololokwe, the Samburu’s sacred mountain, and snow-capped Mount Kenya. Multiple communal areas, a generous communal terrace and a plunge pool complete the perfect setting.

Acacia: Sleeps Four

Magical wildlife scenery from the comfort of your villa. Acacia’s luxurious new interiors are inspired by the Acacia tree. The house is built into the mountainside, with huge boulders forming part of its structure, with a hand-woven papyrus roof capping it. Acacia comprises two large bedrooms, with several communal living spaces and two decks, which overlook a watering hole and have incredible views of the rugged countryside. Acacia can be booked as a complete two-bedroom villa, or as two independent suites for two couples.

Boscia: Sleeps Six

Nature-inspired architecture and minimalist interiors. The largest of the houses, with three bedrooms and multiple communal areas, Boscia’s contemporary new interiors are inspired by the shepherd tree (boscia albitrunca). The house features a large wrap-around deck with gorgeous views of Mount Lentille, Laikipia’s tallest peak, a plunge pool and an outdoor area with a campfire, ideal to start the evening or finish it.
