Shinta Mani Wild is a luxurious and eco-conscious resort located in the lush wilderness of Cambodia’s Southern Cardamom National Park. Renowned for its seamless integration with nature, the resort offers an exclusive and immersive experience, combining opulent tented accommodations with breathtaking views of the surrounding rivers and rainforest. Guests can indulge in a variety of unique activities such as zip-lining through the canopy, exploring the jungle with expert naturalists, and engaging in conservation efforts to protect the local flora and fauna. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and community involvement, Shinta Mani Wild not only provides an unforgettable escape but also contributes to the preservation of one of Southeast Asia’s most precious ecosystems.

Tents

The tents at Shinta Mani Wild are the epitome of luxury and adventure, meticulously designed to blend opulence with the raw beauty of the Cambodian wilderness. Each tent, set on stilts above the forest floor, offers stunning views of cascading waterfalls and verdant jungle canopies. Lavishly appointed with vintage-style furnishings, hand-crafted décor, and state-of-the-art amenities, these tents provide an unparalleled level of comfort. Guests can enjoy spacious bathrooms with outdoor bathtubs, private decks, and personal butler service, ensuring an indulgent stay. The design ethos reflects a commitment to sustainability, utilising eco-friendly materials and practices to minimise environmental impact while offering a deeply immersive experience in nature.

Two-Bedroom Tent – The Wildlife Alliance Tent

Just north of Headquarters and the Raging Big Sister Falls floats tent #6 over the widest but shallow tributary #3. The approach is spectacular. One strolls just above shallow rapids (monsoon season) on a succession of narrow wooden walkways that dances around this part of the jungle that thrives on wet roots. The Jungle Capsule with simple double bedded accommodation works well as an add-on to this tent.

Dining

Every afternoon, a gardener or chef from Headquarters leaves his apron or kitchen whites behind and sets out on one of Wild’s winding gravel paths on a foraging trip. He’ll comb the jungle and streams for the edible treasures from the forest floor.

The result is a medley of herbs and other delights: shoots of bamboo, sour leaves, wild potatoes, figs, waterlily, wildflowers and even red ants—a zesty delicacy. It’s the local way. This job of foraging brings work for yet more local community members, including former loggers from surrounding villagers.

The dining possibilities at WILD are endless, whether you’re eating at Headquarters, on the lawn, at the Cistern, or having a waterfall picnic. The dining experience is just as spontaneous, with local fare inspiring the rotating menu boards which change daily, whether guests are exploring local Khmer cuisine, a five-course tasting menu, or participating in a camp favourite: 25KM dinner, our most sustainable menu, where all ingredients are sourced within 25kms of the camp.

The Headquarters are the home of dining at Shinta Mani Wild. Be it a quick breakfast before your sunrise hike, or a leisurely foraged dinner, no Headquarters experience is alike! Every meal is carefully curated by chefs to introduce you to something unknown and add to the adventure. Guests will enjoy the freshest seasonal ingredients that Cambodia has to offer, many of them picked by the team in the surrounding forest.
