Captain & Lizzie

Once the Master Bedroom for the Captain and his wife, this luxury suite features a four-poster king bed, fireplace, Smart TV and updated bedding. The large private bath features an oversized claw-foot tub and a separate shower.

Sleeping Porch

The family would sleep here on warm summer nights. Today, spectacularly converted, this suite is one of our most requested rooms. Decorated with elegance, this room has a fireplace, sitting area, king-size bed, “Sleep Number” sleeper sofa, wet bar, fridge, and flat-screen television. The private bath features a clawfoot tub and a separate shower.

President Hayes

This richly elegant room has handsome bay windows and beautiful views of both downtown Ashland and the Cascade mountain range. Named in honour of President and Lucy Hayes. The Hayes visited Ashland in 1889 and this guest room features a portrait and keepsake memorabilia from their visit. This is one of their larger rooms on the front of the house and has two queen beds with updated bedding in addition to a sunny seating area.

Chaucer

This romantic room is named in honour of Geoffrey Chaucer whose portrait adorns an intricate antique stained-glass window separating the bath from the main room. Marble-topped furnishings and oversized antiques are at home in this large room with a queen bed with updated bedding, and a comfortable seating area. The suite features a private bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower

Lydia McCall

This large room once belonged to Lydia McCall, the eldest daughter of the McCalls. The wallpaper in this room was inspired by remnants of the original décor, discovered during the restoration process. Victorian charm abounds with a fireplace, two queen beds, and a large private bath, just across the hall.

Anthony

The four-poster queen bed is a prominent feature of this room. A cosy sitting area, original stained glass, and a private bath with shower create a serene setting.

Phyllis Courtney

Named for the celebrated Shakespearean actress and former owner of the McCall House, this distinctive guest room features a king bed and a luxury private bathroom complete with an oversized shower. This room also has a lovely view of the gardens, patio, and fountain.

Anna Anderson

Anna, the niece and adopted daughter of Lizzie and John McCall, was married in the house in 1887. This relaxing room has both a king and twin bed, in addition to a fireplace, a cosy sitting area, and a private bath with shower.

Carriage House

This elegant cottage once housed the family carriages. Completely renovated in the Spring of 2020, the Carriage House provides the privacy of your quarters with full access to all the privileges of the main house.  Carriage House North is on the second floor with its mini-fridge, Keurig, flat-screen TV, WiFi, vaulted ceilings, and entrance. Carriage House South is on the first floor with its mini-fridge, Keurig, flat-screen TV, WiFi, King bed, and an additional twin.
