Marcel Wanders crafted the hotel’s striking guest rooms and suites to evoke the look and feel of a modern design narrative of the Arabian Nights tale. This landmark destination celebrates the best of the Old and New Worlds.

Standard Rooms

Marvel in the details of Marcel Wanders’ modern design interpretation of the Arabian Nights as you relax in a comfortable Standard room. Each room offers a range of stunning views of the waterfront; from Lusail City and the magical island called The Pearl to West Bay. Design-forward features include a Desert Dune sculptured carpet, a marble tiled bathroom with a 3D walled exterior and custom-crafted accents, like a Swarovski chandelier above an artificial stone bathtub. Available with double or twin beds.

Superior Rooms

The Higher Floor Superior room (Floors 10 to 19) offers guests a Falcon’s eye view of the amazing landscape of the City of Doha from the magical “Pearl” island to Katara Cultural Village and West Bay. Custom-designed Wanders’ white and grey embossed leather upholstered high-back swivel chairs and Arabian-influenced patterns, are evident throughout the space.

Superior Terrace Rooms

This sophisticated room offers a private terrace space and garden to enjoy the stunning views of Doha, both day or night. Or stay inside, where Marcel Wanders has created his own design narrative of the infamous Arabian Nights tale. Indulge in the artificial stone soaking bathtub complimented by a Swarovski crystal chandelier that hangs above. Luxurious details include a desert-inspired sculptured carpet and a stunning bathroom with a custom-designed 3-D wall to signify the separation of the dry desert and wet oasis.

Loft Suite

The Loft Suite offers custom-designed pieces by Marcel Wanders to compliment his authentic vision of the Arabian Nights in this expansive suite. Features include white and grey embossed leather high-back swivel chairs, signature white columns and a white marble-tiled bathroom that invites you to relax in your soaking bathtub underneath the crystal Swarovski chandelier, and a signature Mondrian King bed with luxurious white sheets. Hidden features follow the theme of the “Arabian Tales,” including artwork, designed by Femke Hiemstra.

Deluxe Loft Suite

Intricate design details are influenced by the local culture and fabric, and are evident in every corner of this sophisticated suite. Unique design items include miniature artwork, grey embossed leather upholstered high-back swivel chairs and a soaking bathtub with a Swarovski chandelier that hangs from above. When you’re ready for rest, pamper yourself in the signature bed with luxurious white sheets.

Supreme Deluxe Loft Suite

This sizeable suite reflects a desert and oasis, with sophisticated features such as a desert-inspired sculptured carpet. Deluxe Two Bedroom Suite

Award-winning Marcel Wanders brings his concept of The Arabian Nights to Doha in this expansive Deluxe Two Bedroom Suite. Featuring two bedrooms, a kitchenette and Wanders-designed details like leather embossed high-back swivel chairs, a sumptuous bathroom with a Swarovski chandelier and marble tiling, the space is truly majestic. Additional features such as the desert-inspired sculptured carpet and large decorative divisional frame complete this impressive space.

Deluxe Terrace Suite

Experience Marcel Wanders’ uniquely modern approach to Middle Eastern tradition in a Deluxe Terrace Suite. This sizeable suite reflects a desert and oasis, with sophisticated features such as a desert-inspired sculptured carpet. Enjoy the views of ‘West Bay’ and the artificial island “The Pearl” from a private terrace while feeling at home with a kitchenette and custom Wanders-designed furniture.

Studio Suite

Marcel Wanders’ authentic design features like a private kitchenette and crystal chandeliers evoke the feeling of a pied-a-terre in this spacious Studio Suite. Everything you need is here for entertaining, working or just relaxing: a signature Mondrian King bed, a gorgeous bathroom with a Swarovski crystal, artificial stone soaking bathtub, marble tiling and wall motifs. A miniature artwork is the main feature in each room and is based on the fairytale story of a Dutch traveler on an expedition through the Middle East.

Opal Suite

Enter through crystallised mirrors in a hallway of jewels and marvel in the crystal chandeliers that accent the suite’s four rooms, which include a dressing room and make-up room with a beautifully designed white-embellished mirror, a bridesmaid’s bedroom, a spacious living room, a walk-through closet and an en-suite master bedroom featuring a four poster bed with luxurious high-quality sheets. Indulge in a soaking bath while taking in views of Lusail City, the artificial island “Pearl” and West Bay, or de-stress in the hot-sauna crafted from Scandinavian wood. For the grandest of entrances, the 24k gold-sculpted caged elevator descends right from the suite to open directly into the Moonstone Ballroom – creating a dramatic moment that is truly one to remember.

Sky House

Located on the 23rd floor, this expansive, the two-story Sky House is custom-designed by Marcel Wanders and offers stunning 360-degree views of Doha: the bright lights of West Bay and The Pearl at night, and the sky-blue Persian Gulf during the day. The suite offers a living room, two king bedrooms, one twin bedroom, a dining room, an entertainment room, a butler/chef/maid room on the ground floor, and a lift connecting the two floors. Wanders’ attention to detail is evident with chic and dramatic ‘one-minute delft’ hand painted blue vases and a version of the iconic “floating staircase” that’s also presented in the hotel lobby. The desert-inspired, sculptured carpet, hidden falcon designs in the dining room wallpaper pattern, sophisticated artwork on the ceiling, and two curved Dewan Majilis sofas to provide a unique social setting for guests.

Penthouse

Located on the 23rd floor, our Penthouse Suite takes you to the old Arabic tales with an authentic approach to modern-day design. Wanders’ iconic “Floating Staircase” and the hand painted “One-Minute Delft” blue vases set up a striking atmosphere with sophisticated touches. Custom-designed by Marcel Wanders, this two-story Penthouse offers incredible attention to detail with its locally-inspired features within the room, such as a sculptured carpet that is intended to reflect the Qatari desert, falcon designs within the walls and custom furniture including Dewan Majilis sofas, dark wooden foyer doors and a “cabinet of information” that offers details on the fascinating history and culture of the region. Both iconic stairs and a lift connecting their two floors and guests have access to butler/chef/maid room on the ground floor. Enjoy spectacular panoramic 360-degree views of Doha throughout the spaces, which include a living room, one master king bedroom and two twin bedrooms, a dining room and entertainment room.
